On November 12th at the Staszic Palace in Warsaw, PAS Vice-President Prof. Mirosława Ostrowska, and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Alim Kirabayev, inaugurated an exhibition of maps of Kazakhstan organized by the Kazakh Embassy in cooperation with the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The exhibition is the result of 17 years of research by Dr. Mukhit-Ardager Sydyknazarov from the Gumilev Eurasian National University who has collected thousands of documents, including maps, from leading libraries, museums, and archives in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, which attest to the continuous historical statehood of Kazakhstan. Each map is a testament to the era in which it was created, while also illustrating the unbroken presence of Kazakhstan as a vital part of the global geopolitical mosaic – a theme Dr. Mukhit-Ardager Sydyknazarov presented to guests in his speech. Afterward, all participants had an excellent opportunity for discussion and questions.

The exhibition was attended by numerous representatives from scientific, diplomatic, and political circles.
